As expected a Conexant update was waiting for me there : I installed the update, returned to Device Manager and found the version remains unchanged. Let me hasten to add that I have no problems with Updates, and this has been checked by Get Help staff.

Just to verify, can you check Conexant support website if you can download the driver manually from their website? If the driver is available, download it and try to manually uninstall and reinstall the drivers, and see if it would refresh the update notification.
I have presented the issue at Get Help. To make a long story short, in the last session, one MS professional worked on it, and Windows stopped eternally “updating” Conexant but never doing it right. But there is a problem, I no more see Conexant under Programs. I downloaded the driver from Lenovo for I use a Lenovo laptop , but Windows somehow doesn’t approve of it, and the download failed.
Later, I visited the Conexant site but couldn’t find any download option. Can you tell us what is happening when attempting to download and install the Conexant driver?
