Install and use different versions of Office on the same PC – Question Info
This looks as if the problem is being swept under the carpet and ignored. I appreciate that people are providing help on a voluntary basis, but it must be apparent that there is a major issue with Office that needs to be addressed by Microsoft. It appears impossible to obtain any direct support from Microsoft as they need a PID number from the product, which is only available once the product is installed – otherwise it’s time to get the credit card out again.
I ask the moderators of this forum and Microsoft, to please acknowledge that the problem exists, and ensure that the buyers and users of this product are taken seriously.
If this is done, hopefully a resolution can be quickly found. As it stands, I feel badly let down by Microsoft and cannot recommend Office to any prospective purchaser. Was this reply helpful? Any link to or advocacy of virus, spyware, malware, or phishing sites.

Tip: If you discover you need an application that didn’t come with your Office product, you have the option to purchase a stand-alone application. The problem is that I never installed Office prerelease or any component that I can recall. I have tried removing Office from the system through the Control Panel uninstall. Do the following to check your licenses.
