Interface is simple and uncluttered and accepted MP4 file, but final movie image quality is blurry and poor. Could not even read an MP4 file.

Unsatisfactory final product. Horribly cluttered interface. Maybe okay if you have a lot of time to learn it. Cluttered interface. Even though I paid for it, learning curve was too steep.

Excellent video output in MP4 format. Simple interface, uncluttered intuitive, but, horrible text editor, and no ability to easily experiment with output options in different formats. Not as easy to use as the Sony Movie Studio 13 Suite. Controls need polishing. I purchased this product several years ago and loved it. I recently upgraded my laptop with a new ssd and went to reinstall the software.

Thought maybe something was wrong with discs so I downloaded the 30 day trial as I already had the software codes. Placed the codes in and received the same message.

After online research I found that Sony Vegas Studio was bought out by another company and they discontinued service for this product so even if you want to purchase, it won’t work. Very disappointed as the product was wonderful for what I used it for. Unlike some of the negative reviewers, I was able to run the software right away.

For the price, I love all the features it comes with. Overlaping several layers and using different animation and effect tools I was able to create excellent animated logos formerly done in Photoshop and text.

The balance and contrast correction didn’t do much but it helped an overexposed film I had done. Again, for the price I cant complain. Learning is ok, your imagination and creativity is important as it is with any art, and filming and editing is close to an art.

Can’t output p at 60fps it will only do interlaced at 60fps and interlaced sux especialy if your original footage is p 60fps. Unfortunately its useless to me. Well, I used this to install the disc-based software. If you accidentally buy the disc-based version of this software only to remembering after doing so that your computer doesn’t have a DVD drive in it, you can use this trial copy to install the full program and use your licenses to register the product.

If you own the suite, it won’t work for the additional, non-Sony software, but it will get you started with the primary features. One person found this helpful. Worked great for the 30 days but i chose to use a different platform for my videos i give it five stars because it was great when i used it peace. I can’t promise there’s a free or cheap plug-in out there that will make your titles look like Saul Bass created them, but there are a number of powerful tools out there — including NewBlue’s excellent Titler Pro, a version of which was bundled with Vegas Pro and Movie Studio Platinum for a while.

I will look for some links when I can. But I can tell you I am just looking for simple, 2d, clean, professional looking text intros that I don’t have to design but can just change the text.

Titler Pro did not come with my Movie Studio Plat. I am considering upgrading to Vegas Pro. Will it come with that? Search the Vegas Pro forum for discussions re that plugin in VPro Editor window adds [object Object] code when you select a category – please delete this and continue writing your message.

Replace the default text with your own words. Play the timeline to watch the animation in action. You can adjust the length of the event on your timeline, but keep in mind that the event itself has a preset length, so stretching the event too long may cause the animation to loop.

In the drop-down menu, scroll down until you find the Title01 preset. Presets Title02 through Title25 appear below it. You can choose any animation you want, or you can choose each animation one-by-one to see which you prefer. Choose another preset, then click on the left edge of the text event and play it through from the beginning.

Choose different animations and see which one you like best. Some of the animations work best when you have multiple lines of text. Some work better with different text arrangements , such as two or three words on one line and then one word on the next.

I have found many that can be downloaded and added to Vegas Pro 13 but so far I haven’t found any for Sony Platinum. Can someone tell me if any. Access hundreds of video and audio effects. Personalize your movies with text animations, title rolls, scrolling credits, and more all in Movie.
